I have used this drill for over 25 years. It’s all because of the Magnum trigger. It is capable of starting at about 15 rpm and gradually increasing at your command. The advantage is that the bit won’t jump all over the place which is critical when working on a finished surface. This drill gets 5 ***** from me! One warning though, it is extremely strong with very high torque, so if using on metal or hard woods, use the side handle. I almost broke my wrist once.
